Chargers' rookie Hunter Henry can 'do it all'
San Diego Chargers second-round tight end Hunter Henry can "do it all," believes head coach Mike McCoy.
McCoy praised Henry for making "another great one-handed grab in practice today" and also noted the rookie's blocking. Henry won the Mackey Award as the nation's tight end with Arkansas last season. With Antonio Gates (hamstring) looking doubtful, Henry appears to be in line for his first career start in Week 3. He's a viable streaming option against a porous Indianapolis Colts defense.
If he plays, our models project Gates to catch 5 passes for 50 yards and 0.40 touchdowns against the Colts. It's reasonable that Henry meets these expectations if he draws the start.
