Broncos have offered Mark Sanchez to Cowboys
The Denver Broncos have contacted the Dallas Cowboys regarding a trade of Mark Sanchez, NFL Network's Jane Slater reports.
That's much different than the Cowboys contacting the Broncos. According to Slater, the Cowboys aren't interested in Sanchez at his current $4.5 million salary, so he'd have to take a pay cut to even discuss facilitating a deal. All the Cowboys are looking for is an experienced clipboard-holder for rookie Dak Prescott. Sanchez fits the profile.
Among the 46 quarterbacks to attempt at least 100 passes in 2015, Sanchez ranked 41st in Passing Net Expected Points per drop back.
