Chargers' D.J. Fluker in crutches, walking boot
San Diego Chargers right guard D.J. Fluker was spotted on crutches and with a walking boot on his right foot Monday.
What It Means:
Since being selected with the 11th overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft, Fluker has been a rare display of consistency on a San Diego offensive line that has lacked any sort of stability in recent years. He's currently undergoing an MRI, but with the Chargers' first game just three weeks away, the boot and crutches are certainly a cause for concern for the offense.
The Chargers offense ranked 19th in Adjusted Offensive Net Expected Points per play last season.
