Cowboys place Ryan Williams on injured reserve
The Dallas Cowboys have placed running back Ryan Williams on injured reserve.
What It Means:
Williams continued to deal with injury issues this offseason and underwent a knee procedure after swelling in June. He has not played an NFL snap since October of the 2012 season with the Cardinals. The current running back rotation in Dallas is Joseph Randle, Darren McFadden, and Lance Dunbar.
The Cowboys ranked in the top-10 in schedule-adjusted Rushing Net Expected Points last season. Their talented offensive line should foster a prominent fantasy back this upcoming season.
