Jets' Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) not expected to play this season

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) is not expected to play this season.

What It Means:

Rodgers has been promoted to the Jets' active roster but is not expected to play this season, according to Robert Saleh. Saleh said "We're still going to keep him on the active. It's all part of his rehab. Just having him on the field is a plus for everybody, for him and his teammates." With Zach Wilson still in concussion protocol, Trevor Siemian is in line to start against the Washington Commanders in Week 16.

Siemian's Week 16 projection includes 206.1 yards, 1.23 touchdowns, 0.93 interceptions, and 13.4 FanDuel points. His salary is $6,400.
