Allen Lazard reportedly inactive Week 12 for Jets
New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard will be inactive on Friday afternoon against the Miami Dolphins in Week 12, reports Connor Hughes of SNY.
What It Means:
The Jets are making Lazard a healthy scratch after he dropped his only target last week. Jason Brownlee could see more snaps behind Garrett Wilson and Xavier Gipson in Friday's matinee. Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert may also be more involved in the passing game.
The Dolphins are allowing the 11th-most FanDuel points per game to wide receivers this season, but according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings, they have the ninth-best pass defense in the league.
