Justin Fields (thumb) still limited, day-to-day for Bears
Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields (thumb) was limited at Monday's walkthrough practice for Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night.
Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said Fields is still day-to-day, but it sounds like he might be able to return on Thursday night after missing three games. Tyson Bagent will make another start if Fields is out again.
Fields is averaging negative-0.07 and Bagent is averaging negative-0.12 Passing Net Expected Points per attempt this season, so Fields' return would be a boost for the offense. The Panthers are allowing the 12th-fewest FanDuel points (15.4) and the fewest rushing yards (9.8) per game to quarterbacks.
