Jalen Ramsey out six weeks for Jaguars following knee surgery
Jacksonville Jaguars rookie cornerback/safety Jalen Ramsey is expected to miss six weeks after undergoing surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee.
Considering timelines of four-to-six months were floated right after the injury was reported, six weeks might be the best possible outcome. Ramsey will miss the entire offseason program, but he should be ready to go for training camp. The Jaguars, who lost 2015 third overall pick Dante Fowler to a torn ACL last May, can let out a huge sigh of relief.
The Jaguars could use all the help they can get in the secondary. Their pass defense ranked third worst last season, according to numberFire's metrics.
