Colts expected to cut ties with Trent Cole
The Indianapolis Colts are expected to cut defensive lineman Trent Cole, with the Indianapolis Star's Zak Keefer believing it's an "easy call."
What It Means:
Cole recorded just three sacks after signing a two-year, $14 million deal last offseason. Cutting Cole will save $6.125 million against the cap.
The Colts need to find all sorts of defensive help this offseason, particularly up front. Indianapolis finished 19th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play in 2015.
