Giants will reportedly let Rueben Randle walk

The New York Giants are not expected to re-sign impending free agent wideout Rueben Randle, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

What It Means:

Beat writer James Kratch isn't sure if the Giants even want Randle back, but he also suspects Randle will get more money from another team than the Giants will be willing to pay. Randle seemed to frustrate ex-coach Tom Coughlin a great deal, but it's unclear how new coach Ben McAdoo felt about the 24-year-old. Randle is entering a market with not much receiver talent.

Randle -- who hasn't missed a game in his four-year career -- had just 57 grabs for 797 yards, but he ripped off eight touchdowns in 2015. He's a really good asset in best-ball formats. Among receivers with at least 80 targets, he finished 10th in Reception Net Expected Points per target, boosted by his touchdown prowess.
