Chris Carson to be more involved in Seahawks' passing game

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson "will catch the ball more this year, for sure," head coach Pete Carroll said.

What It Means:

The departures of Doug Baldwin and Mike Davis should lead to more aerial work for both Carson and Rashaad Penny, but Carroll specifically praised Carson for his abilities in the passing game. The third-year back caught 20 passes (24 targets) for 163 scoreless yards last season.

numberFire's models believe Carson will record 1,147.0 rushing yards, 169.3 receiving yards, and 8.45 touchdowns in 2019. He's the RB20 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
