Bills' Devin Singletary earning 'steady' first-team reps
Buffalo Bills third-round running back Devin Singletary has earned a "steady amount of opportunities" with the first-team offense, writes Matthew Fairburn and Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic.
Singletary has "made a habit of busting a big play," impressed in the passing game, and "made good defenders look foolish in the open field on the way to significant gains," per Fairburn and Buscaglia. LeSean McCoy claimed Tuesday that he's been told he remains "the guy" in the Bills' backfield, but this appears to be heading toward a committee between the rookie and veteran.
Singletary is currently the RB46 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models expect him to rush for 419.6 yards and 2.09 touchdowns, with another 176.9 yards on 20.4 receptions. McCoy is the RB40.
