Eric Decker finds end zone again as Jets top Miami
New York Jets receiver Eric Decker secured 5-of-9 targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' Week 12 win over the Miami Dolphins.
What It Means:
Decker has scored a touchdown or topped 80 receiving yards in all of his 10 games this season. Decker nearly had a second score Sunday, but he dropped it just shy of the end zone.
With eight touchdowns, Decker has been one of the league's most efficient wideouts this season. He entered the week ranked eighth in Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target among wideouts with at least 50 targets. In the win over Miami, he turned his nine looks into 8.04 Reception NEP. In Week 13, the Jets take on the New York Giants, who rank 23rd in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per drop back.
