DeVante Parker scores first touchdown as Dolphins fall
Miami Dolphins receiver DeVante Parker secured 4-of-10 targets for 80 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 12 loss to the New York Jets.
He finally did something for the best-ball shares. Parker benefited from Rishard Matthews (chest/ribs) leaving early and not returning. He caught his touchdown pass late in garbage time. With Miami firing offensive coordinator Bill Lazor on Monday, there's a chance the team could move Parker into a more featured role down the stretch.
This was the best game of Parker's young career, and he finished with 10.74 Reception Net Expected Points. He's a much more valuable asset in dynasty leagues, but Parker could be a factor down the stretch with Matthews expected to miss significant time. Miami takes on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 13. The Ravens rank 15th in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play.
