Sam Bradford

Sam Bradford released by Cardinals

Former first-overall pick Sam Bradford has been released by the Arizona Cardinals in the midst of their Week 9 bye.

What It Means:

Bradford was signed to an exorbitant two-year, $40 million contract in the offseason, but due to injuries and the drafting of UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, he played just three games this season. A contender could sign him as a backup for the postseason.

This season, Bradford went 50/80 for 400 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions.
