Geronimo Allison clears protocol, not practicing for Packers Thursday due to hamstring injury
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison cleared the concussion protocol but will not practice Thursday due to a hamstring injury, head coach Mike McCarthy said.
Allison has been dealing with the hamstring issue since last week and it sounds like it may keep him sidelined in Week 6 when the Packers take on the San Francisco 49ers Monday night. Randall Cobb (hamstring) remains out Thursday, so Marquez Valdes-Scantling could draw another start opposite Davante Adams.
Allison is averaging 12.6 FanDuel points per game this season, with 19 receptions (29 targets) for 289 yards and 2 touchdowns. He's currently the WR65 in numberFire's season-long fantasy rankings.
