Adrian Peterson says he dislocated shoulder in Washington loss

Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson said he suffered a dislocated shoulder in Monday night's loss to the New Orleans Saints.

What It Means:

Peterson will undergo an MRI on Tuesday, but he doesn't expect to miss any time. "It's not going to keep me out," he stated. "I came back into the game. It was just a situation where it was sore." The 33-year-old superhuman should be fine to play in Week 6 versus the Carolina Panthers. He rushed 4 times for 6 yards and caught 2 passes (3 targets) for 36 yards versus the Saints.

Peterson is averaging 14.3 FanDuel points per game this season, with 242 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns, as well as 136 receiving yards on 7 catches (9 targets). He is the RB20 in numberFire's Week 6 fantasy rankings.
