Nigel Hayes sits out Wisconsin's practice on Tuesday
Wisconsin Badgers senior forward Nigel Hayes (groin) sat out Tuesday's practice, according to Zach Heilprin of The Zone.
What It Means:
Hayes has been dealing with the groin injury the last few weeks and sat out as a precaution. The senior is fully expected to play on Thursday versus the Iowa Hawkeyes. Khalil Iverson will be the beneficiary if Hayes has to miss any time.
Hayes is averaging 13.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 44.3 percent from the floor.
