Virginia Cavaliers freshman guard Kyle Guy scored a game-high 17 points with 5 three-pointers, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in Monday's win over the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Guy went 5-for-7 from beyond the arc as he tied a career-high in made three-pointers. He has now scored in double-digits in two straight games as he takes a larger role in the offense. The freshman has played an average of 33.5 minutes the last two games after playing under 11.0 minutes the previous five games.
