Reggie Upshaw leads Middle Tennessee as they clinch first conference title
Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders senior forward Reggie Upshaw scored a team-high 19 points with six rebounds, three assists, one block, and two steals in Sunday's win over the UAB Blazers.
What It Means:
Upshaw has now strung together five consecutive double-digit scoring games, averaging 16.4 points per game, after posting a goose egg in the Blue Raiders last loss on February 4. Middle Tennessee won their first Conference USA regular season title on Sunday and at 25-4 are a near-lock to make the field of 68, no matter what happens in the conference tournament.
