Isaiah Briscoe to be a game-time decision for Kentucky on Saturday
Kentucky Wildcats sophomore guard Isaiah Briscoe (ankle) got the day off from practice Thursday and will be a game-time decision on Saturday versus the Florida Gators, according to coach John Calipari.
What It Means:
Fellow guard De'Aaron Fox also received the day off due to injury. The Wildcats can not afford to have both players sit in a crucial showdown with the Gators, with whom they are tied with at the top of the SEC standings and lost to by 22 points previously this season. If Briscoe or Fox is unable to play, Dominique Hawkins will be asked to take on their minutes.
Briscoe is averaging 13.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game this season.
