Report: Spurs' Kawhi Leonard (quad) expected to miss remainder of postseason
San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss the rest of the 2018 NBA playoffs, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
Leonard was cleared by team doctors, but he hasn't played since January 13th. He has yet to be given the green light from his own team of doctors as he remains committed to reaching full health toward the future. Kyle Anderson should continue to start in his stead, with LaMarcus Aldridge carrying a serious offensive burden.
In 9 games, Leonard averaged 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 23.3 minutes per game this season.
