Los Angeles Clippers forward Danilo Gallinari is targeting a return Friday versus the Portland Trail Blazers.
What It Means:
Gallinari has been sidelined since February 22nd with a hand injury. He has been closing in on a return, and it looks like he'll be back Friday night. Regarding his workload, he said, "I hope to play a few minutes against Portland [Friday]." He noted that his hand isn't completely healed, but he's looking to help his team to the playoffs. He'll be restricted before getting worked back into his normal role. When he's at full strength, Wesley Johnson, Sam Dekker and Tyrone Wallace would take a minutes hit on the wing.
