Chris Paul (hamstring) not expected to play for Rockets on Thursday
Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul (hamstring) is unlikely to play on Thursday against the Detroit Pistons, head coach Mike D'Antoni said.
What It Means:
Paul is dealing with a sore left hamstring but this probably has more to do with veteran maintenance than injury concern. D'Antoni said the Rockets will be resting different guys at different times over the final 11 games of the season. Eric Gordon figures to benefit the most from a Paul absence.
