Taj Gibson scores season-high 28 in Timberwolves' win
Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Taj Gibson scored a season-high 28 points in a 119-111 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night.
Gibson went big to cap off the first part of the year. He scored four more points than in any other game, as he finished the night 11-for-16 from the floor and a perfect 6-for-6 from the line. Meanwhile, he accounted for seven boards, two blocks, one assist and one steal in 38.5 minutes.
Gibson's 44.9 FanDuel points were his highest since November 22nd and provided a value of 8.63 FD points per $1,000. When he emerges from this week's All-Star break, we project Gibson for 25.8 FD points on the road against the Houston Rockets.
