Warriors' Stephen Curry tops Western Conference All-Star voting, will serve as a captain
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry was the leading All-Star vote-getter for the Western Conference and will serve as a captain, along with LeBron James for the 2018 All-Star Game.
Curry has made the All-Star team for the fifth consecutive year and will now have the honor of picking a team from a pool of starters and reserves, without regard to conference affiliation. Curry has been hampered by injuries this season, playing in 31-of-46 games, but is still averaging 27.7 points per game, good enough for third-most in the NBA if he qualified.
Curry currently ranks tied for 4th with a 9.1 nERD rating this season.
