Knicks waive Mindaugas Kuzminskas to make room for Joakim Noah
The New York Knicks are waiving forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas to make room for the return of center Joakim Noah according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Noah is set to return to the active roster on Monday, so Kuzminskas is getting the axe. There's a good chance he could latch on elsewhere, but for New York, Noah adds another piece to their already stacked frontcourt.
Our models project Noah to average 4.9 points, to go with 5.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists over 20.4 minutes per game remaining this season.
