Philadelphia's Ben Simmons drawing early MVP money in Vegas
Ben Simmons' fantastic opening week performance is turning some heads in Las Vegas.
What It Means:
Simmons became the first player since Oscar Robertson to produce at least 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in each of his first three career games. The rookie forward's hot start has caused his MVP odds to change from 80/1 to 33/1, putting him ahead of Damian Lillard, Blake Griffin and tying him with DeMarcus Cousins.
Our models project Simmons for 28.8 FanDuel points on Monday night. We have him pegged for 14.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 34.41 minutes of action. The Australian-born rookie will cost $8,000 for Monday's slate.
