Al Horford has the perfect skillset for versatile Celtics' lineup
Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford's ball-handling and passing skills plus the ability to play multiple positions is key to the Celtics' versatile lineups.
Initially a power forward, Horford played 75% of his minutes at center last season. His 5.0 assists per game led the NBA in 2016-17 and leave coach Brad Stevens the flexibility to use an extensive combination of lineups. Horford is entering his second season as the Celtics' starting center after playing 9 seasons with the Atlanta Hawks.
Our models project Horford for 13.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game this season.
