Kevin Love (tightness) expects to be fine for Cavaliers' opener
Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Kevin Love said the "tightness" that caused him to sit out Friday's preseason finale against the Orlando Magic isn't anything to be concerned about.
Love didn't feel 100 percent on Friday while working out, but he still intended to play before being told otherwise just minutes before the game that Channing Frye would get the start instead. He should be fine for Tuesday's opener against the Boston Celtics.
numberFire's models project Love to average 19.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 2.6 3-pointers per game this season on 50.0 percent shooting from the field and 34.2 percent from deep.
