Chandler Parsons (knee) targeting opening-night return for Mavericks
Dallas Mavericks guard Chandler Parsons (knee) said that his knee is "feeling great," and he is confident he'll be ready for the Mavs' regular-season opener on October 28.
He was taking some shots, which is nothing new since he has been doing so since at least August 19th. Parsons is still on track to play for training camp.
Primary ball handlers Monta Ellis and Rajon Rondo are on their way out of Dallas and Devin Harris is coming off another injury. Therefore, Parsons will have his hands on the ball much more this upcoming season and will likely be the second option on offense, behind Dirk Nowitzki. Parsons had a respectable 2.4 nERD last season with 15.7 points and 4.9 rebounds. He is worth a look in the early-to-middle rounds of fantasy basketball due to his scoring and three-point shooting.
