Pistons renouncing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
The Detroit Pistons are renouncing restricted free agent guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The move comes just hours after the Pistons landed guard Avery Bradley in a deal with the Boston Celtics. With a few teams currently tied up in offer sheets to other free agent targets, the Brooklyn Nets are expected to be a top contender for KCP's services.
In 76 games, the 23-year-old wing averaged 13.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. He shot 39.9% from the field with 2 threes a game while his -1.4 nERD is identical to that of Bradley.
