Utah's Rodney Hood could be team's go-to scorer in 2017-18

Utah Jazz guard Rodney Hood could become a primary scorer this season, according to general manager Dennis Lindsey.

What It Means:

It looks like Utah is prepared to move forward after the departure of Gordon Hayward in free agency. Hood is one of many players who will be asked to pick up their production this season.

This past season, Hood averaged 12.7 points on 40.8% shooting in 59 games and 55 starts. He'll have to maintain his health and improve his efficiency if he hopes to become the scorer he's expected to be.
