Warriors' Draymond Green wins Defensive Player of the Year
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green won the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year.
After coming up short to Kawhi Leonard for two straight seasons, and even with a stellar season from Rudy Gobert, Green took home the award and is very deserving of it. He ran away with the voting, collecting 73 of the 100 first place votes.
Green averaged 10.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.4 blocks, and a league-leading 2.0 steals per game. He had a .481 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 6.0 ranked him 32nd among all players.
