Clippers expect Austin Rivers (hamstring) to play in Game 5

Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers (hamstring) is expected to play in Game 5 versus the Utah Jazz on Tuesday.

What It Means:

Rivers has missed the entire postseason so far and the final six games of the regular season with the hamstring injury. His return is big for the Clippers as he could enter the starting lineup if they decide to go small with the absence of Blake Griffin. Either way, Raymond Felton will likely see his minutes dry up with Rivers' return.

Rivers averaged 12.0 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while posting a -3.7 nERD rating-- ranking him 440th out of 486 NBA players -- this season.
