Warriors head coach Steve Kerr to miss the rest of the first-round
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is not expected to coach again in the first-round series with the Portland Trail Blazers due to an undisclosed illness.
The Warriors have not been very forthcoming with details on the illness, but Kerr has been said to be in excruciating pain and can barely walk. It could be related to migraines he has battled for the last two years, but the exact illness is unclear. Assistant Mike Brown will coach the team in Kerr's absence, which could be for an extended period.
The Warriors are up 3-0 on the Blazers and can wrap up the series with a sweep on Monday in Game 4.
