J.R. Smith struggles in return to Cavaliers' lineup
Cleveland Cavaliers guard/forward J.R. Smith played 21 minutes in his return to the starting lineup on Wednesday, managing only 3 points on 1-of-6 shooting, adding 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals as the Cavs fell 126-113 to the Denver Nuggets.
This was Smith's second start in his eight games since returning from a thumb injury, a span in which he has averaged only 6.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 23.7 minutes per game while shooting an ugly 29.0 percent from the field.
