Golden State to sign Matt Barnes
The Golden State Warriors will sign free agent forward Matt Barnes for the remainder of the season, per ESPN's Marc Stein.
What It Means:
This signing comes in the wake of Kevin Durant suffering a knee injury that will keep him out of action indefinitely.
Barnes averaged 7.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 25.3 minutes per game with the Sacramento Kings to start the season. He ranks only 443rd among 466 players with a -3.8 nERD.
