Deron Williams, Andrew Bogut don't practice Wednesday for Mavericks
Dallas Mavericks point guard Deron Williams and center Andrew Bogut did not practice on Wednesday.
Head coach Rick Carlisle said everyone can "read into what you want" in regards to this being related to an impending trade. Owner Mark Cuban discussed the Mavericks taking on salary in order to yield a draft pick, so moving the veteran duo may be necessary to facilitate that. Williams would likely lose value on a different team, but Yogi Ferrell would receive a boost.
Williams is averaging 13.1 points, 6.9 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 3-pointers per game this season while posting a -1.4 nERD rating, ranking him 349th out of 463 NBA players.
