Blazers' Evan Turner suffers a fractured hand on Tuesday
Portland Trail Blazers guard/forward Evan Turner fractured his right hand during Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks and will not return.
He broke his third metacarpal in his right hand, an injury that usually takes 4-6 weeks to recover from. While Turner is on the sidelines, Maurice Harkless should get some extra run and Allen Crabbe becomes a candidate to see more minutes. Both are solid pickups in season-long fantasy leagues.
After signing a four-year $70 million contract, Turner is averaging just 9.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists across 26.2 minutes per game. He owns a .466 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of -3.7 ranks 442nd.
