Raptors' DeMarre Carroll resting Friday
Toronto Raptors' small forward DeMarre Carroll will not play against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday and Norman Powell will start in his place.
What It Means:
Friday will be just a day of rest for Carroll as the Raptors are playing the front end of a back-to-back. Second-year forward Powell and Terrence Ross will both see increased minutes with Caroll out.
In the three games Powell has started this season, he has averaged nearly 28 minutes per game with 14.0 points and 2.6 three-pointers per game.
