Anthony Davis plays 41 minutes in Pelicans' blowout win
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis played 41 minutes, stuffing the stat sheet with 41 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks in a 105-88 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
It was strange to see Davis play so many minutes in a blowout, especially after having played 40-plus minutes in each of his last two games as well, but it was certainly a welcome surprise for fantasy owners. Davis is now averaging a league-leading 31.6 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game on the season.
It was a hugely efficient game for Davis, and his 70.72 nERD was the highest mark among any player on Tuesday.
