Blake Griffin out for Clippers on Tuesday

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin (rest) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets, and forward Paul Pierce will draw the start in his place.

What It Means:

Griffin has been dealing with some knee soreness and against the lowly Nets, the Clippers are opting to give him the night off to rest. Even though Pierce is starting in his place, expect Marreese Speights to see plenty of run on Tuesday as well.

Griffin is averaging 21.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists over 33.1 minutes per game this season. He owns a .495 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 3.7 ranks eighth among all players.
