Monta Ellis is locked in as Pacers' starting two-guard

Indiana Pacers guard Monta Ellis will be the team's starting shooting guard moving forward, head coach Nate McMillan confirmed.

What It Means:

Ellis came off the bench for one game, but that turned out to be a one-game experiment for McMillan after the Pacers lost to the Philadelphia 76ers in overtime. Offensive touches will be harder to come by with the first unit, but Ellis should be able to maintain late-round value.

Through 11 games this season, Ellis is averaging 10.9 points, 4.6 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest on 47.1 percent shooting from the field. His -1.1 nERD is currently the worst on the Pacers' roster.
