Joel Embiid scores 20 points in 22 minutes in Sixers debut
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid made his NBA debut against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, scoring 20 points with seven rebounds, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 22 minutes.
The Process was on full display on Wednesday. He hit shots from all over the floor and his post moves made you do a double take at times. Once his minutes restriction is lifted and if he can stay healthy, Embiid looks like the heavy favorite for rookie of the year.
Embiid posted an insane 47.8 usage rate in his first game of the season and his 6-for-16 night still led to a true shooting percentage of 51.2 percent.
