Derek Fisher interested in playing again
Former point guard Derek Fisher has reportedly been "exploring [his] options and expressing interest in playing again," according to sources of Ian Begley of ESPN.
On Tuesday night, Fisher posted a video on Facebook of him working out and included the hashtag #Imnotdoneyet. With the salary cap increased to $94 million, Fisher can be added to the list of NBA veterans trying to make comebacks. Fisher will turn 42 years-old next week, so it's doubtful an NBA comeback will actually happen, although an overseas stint is possible. Fisher doesn't offer any fantasy value.
Fisher last played during the 2013-14 season and averaged 5.2 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 17.6 minutes per game. He posted a .542 true shooting percentage in 81 games played.
