Grizzlies' Mike Conley is fully recovered
Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley is fully recovered from his sore Achilles according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
What It Means:
Conley was forced to miss the final 20 games of the regular season and the playoffs with the soreness in his Achilles, but after signing a huge $153 million deal this offseason, this is good news for both parties. Conley will likely take on more scoring this next season under new head coach David Fizdale and Memphis' pace could also quicken, making Conley an interesting fantasy commodity heading into 2016-'17.
Conley is coming off of a terrific season in which he posted the highest assist rate of his career (32.7 percent), while managing the lowest turnover rate of his career (9.5 percent). He ranked 50th in the NBA with a 3.1 nERD.
