Shams: Spencer Dinwiddie to sign with Lakers after clearing waivers
Spencer Dinwiddie will sign with the Los Angeles Lakers once he clears waivers, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Dinwiddie was dealt to the Toronto Raptors at the trade deadline, but he was promptly bought out. Now, he's planning to sign with the Lakers once he passes through waivers. He'll fit in a backcourt rotation with D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves.
In 48 games this season with the Brooklyn Nets, Dinwiddie averaged 12.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 27.2 FanDuel points.
