Manu Ginobili says he will play next season
Free agent guard Manu Ginobili announced in his personal blog that he intends to play next season.
Even though he is a free agent, it's hard to imagine Ginobili signing with any other team outside of San Antonio. The 39 year-old is obviously on the decline, and if he does indeed return to San Antonio on a new deal, he might be looking at a diminished role.
Ginobili posted a 3.0 nERD, which ranked 51st, in 58 games played -- all off the bench -- this season. He averaged 9.6 points, 3.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game while posting a 57.3 True Shooting Percentage.
