Heat rule out Chris Bosh for playoffs
Miami Heat forward/center Chris Bosh has been ruled out for the remainder of the postseason, according to a team statement.
The statement said the team, Bosh, doctors and medical staff have been working together through this process. Bosh has reportedly been trying to get clearance, including seeing other doctors to do so. However, the team may feel there is just too much risk involved here. It'll be Luol Deng manning the power forward spot the rest of the way this year. Bosh's status for next year is undetermined.
Bosh was very productive this season, and his 6.1 nERD ranked 26th in the league. Hopefully his stellar career doesn't end on this note, but if it does, he'll have amassed very impressive numbers with 17,189 career points and 7,592 career rebounds.
